TAG:

To start, I’m coming to part 1, I would like to introduce Mr. Richard Simpson – The CEO of Launchpool will join our AMA and share all the information about Launchpool

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

Hello everyone, how lovely it is to be here. Thank you for joining me and taking the time to learn about Launchpool

TAG:

Hello @Rich_Launchpool, can you introduce your team and Launchpool?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

Launchpool was born from the idea that the different elements of the ecosystem don’t pull in the same direction, i.e., projects that live and die by their communities but the community is often the last to buy tokens. and generally not ‘not getting good deals so we wanted to do something about that.

We want to create an environment that minimizes risk for everyone. Risk of projects difficult for small investors, but also for funds. We think our model also minimizes their risk. We want to encourage our community to stay with the projects and use the services of the projects we launch, so hopefully it will benefit everyone.

Projects also benefit from a startup community and well-connected investors / funds.

Our team is always evolving, as you can imagine! I myself, the CEO, have been working full-time in the cryptocurrency industry for over 3 years now. I was previously a Project and Research Director at the Alphabit Foundation. We have many strong industry players with us. As well as the eight founding foundations, we have Shane McQuillan, responsible for bringing us the best projects to launch on the platform. We have people from Fomo Craft, Professors and Joe who helped us launch our platform and now I’m happy to say have committed to working with us for a minimum of the next 6 months. We have 2 analysts, 2 operators and then we have community managers. We also have a new Marketing Director who will help us crystallize our brand and supply and make us the number one Launchpad. Our engineering team are 3rd party suppliers based in the UK. We also hope to bring some of these indoors.

TAG:

Thanks for your sharing.

And can you tell us what is Launchpool’s competitive advantage over other projects?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

We have a number of differences that distinguish us from our competitors:

1) Our focus is on equality, so our community invests at the same price that large hedge funds do.

2) We have 10 industry-renowned funds that support the transaction process. They also test projects and investments alongside the startup team. So you know the projects on our platform that have passed the tests performed by these professional investors.

3) We will not operate first-come, first-served, or on a priority tier basis. You bet your LPOOL to show interest in a project on our platform. All stake holders receive a fair share of the allocation. Put more LPOOL in order to get more attribution, everyone gets the same price and the same required terms.

4) We are giving away 25% of the free tokens to kickstart our community.

TAG:

Thanks for your detailed answer @Rich_Launchpool ?

Now, share with us some of the upcoming new events, as well as the major partners Launchpool has been with throughout its development.

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

We have made several statements recently about our partnership efforts. Having the backing of big funds has an advantage here because they are well connected.

We recently launched our extremely successful PUP campaign. The (Pop up Pools) partner with the PREDICTX and YIELD Apps, there may be a few more of these.

We announced our Strategic Partnership with Unizen, a new type of hybrid exchange that allows access to CEX and DEX and other services through an interface. This partnership provides a roadmap for our projects to be listed on their own CEX, backed by Binance cloud liquidity. They also have an incubator so they can offer us a bunch of great projects to kick off.

We have partnered with Certik to audit our contracts, to make sure they are strong. We will have more cooperation announcements in the near future. These will include our project launch and exciting partnership for our services and the services they provide.

TAG:

Great! Thank you for your extremely useful information.

Through this section, I think members can learn more about Launchpool.

Next, we will move on to part 2: answering questions from twitter

First of all, I want to thank the members who sent us many questions ?

The first question is from @ Berat_lucky11

NFT is considered the next trend of the crypto industry after DeFi. Can LAUNCHPOOL share your opinion about NFT? Where do you see the future evolution of NFT features and capabilities over the next few years?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

I think NFT certainty plays a role in the future of blockchain technology. Whether it’s in art or something else. I love NFT’s. I think in terms of in-game use, for me, for skins and artifacts, etc. Artfully, as digital art explores the significance of NFT, I think it will explode. Right now it seems to be a bit of a rush for me. But when the artwork looks different from different NFT owners or your NFT might be visible in the artwork. Some of the things that async art is doing is really cool. I think these will actually be a force in the art world, far more so than some current applications.

And of course, we’d love to see some NFT launch on our platform.

TAG:

Me too, I think NFT will play an important role in blockchain technology

The second question is from @ Jaki73364096

What are the ways your project will generate revenue in the long run? What are your business developments and some of your commercial partnerships?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

Launchpool has several goals in this area. The main source of revenue for Launchpool is investments in the projects it deploys. That also means it is suitable for all other investors. But there is also an opportunity to generate income streams from the use of some services of the projects that we launch and introduce projects to each other. So for example our partnership with Yield App allows us to recommend projects to a free Yield Corporate account. We do not earn any money right now but may divide any commissions with Yield in the future. Other projects that we have in the rollout service other projects and the broader community, so there is an opportunity there too.

We always need to consider and realize that of course our actions do not harm our community. I don’t want the community to set a higher price for using one of our partner’s services so Launchpool can give it a discount. Right now, Lanchpool is in a good position and we don’t need to take money from anywhere. Providing the right service for our community advertising projects is a key priority.

TAG:

We will move on to next question

The third question is from @ quynh199

What is the difference between Launchpool and Polkastarter? Unable to compare, what was more important for venture capitalists to invest in Launchpool than Polkastarter?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

Launchpool aims to change the investment model and focus more on the community. Our VC realizes that the difference between inactive investors in the crypto space. Everyone must work together. Polkastarter does not have this focus. Polkastarter really just wants to maximize the opportunity for their token holders in the short term. We focus on long-term lane development.

TAG:

Here we will go to part 3 of the AMA: Free Q&A session.
TAG will open chat box within 1 minute to receive questions from the community.

Question 1 from @beccaka:

While building your project, did you take into account community responses and requests?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

Yes, we are always happy to listen. Sometimes the community has great ideas, however, sometimes it’s hard to please everyone. Therefore, reasonable requirements are considered.

TAG:

 Question 2 from @fariulla:

Can you give me 2 or 3 main points to convince me and other angel investors to invest long-term in your project?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

The best projects, the largest allocations, all investors are encouraged to pull each other in the same direction.

TAG:

Question 3 from @justatee:

How will you attract crypto users to join LaunchPoolXYZ? Many projects have pulled the carpet and got rid of the scam lately. Why should investors trust your project without doing so?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

We have the reputation of many funds on our shoulders. Celebrities in the industry know us personally. They trusted us with their reputation. I hope you can too.

TAG:

Question 4 from @Linkkses:

What are profitable / revenue-generating ways to sustain your project and what is its revenue model? How can it be mutually beneficial for both the investor and your project?

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

We generate our income by investing, exactly as our community does. We invest in similar projects with the same price, same terms. let you know that our success is your success.

TAG:

And we last question from @Arfanahamed:

Which one of the aspects is important to you?

A- Increased token price and value

B- Platform development

C- Community Trust

D- Expanding partnerships globally

Richard Simpson – Launchpool:

These are all important things to us. To choose one though it would be C. We are our community, so they have to come first.
