Kingdom Karnage: I’m Sam, I’m the Community & Events Manager at Kingdom Karnage, my job is basically to ensure theres always something fun going on at KK

Kingdom Karnage is an Animated Combat NFT Trading Card Game currently playable cross platform from Browser, Google Play & Steam.

Simple to play, hard to master. Kingdom Karnage equips you with an army of up to 30 cards, and challenges you to deplete the health of the enemy hero before his army is able to defeat yours!

Characters and Equipment are not just virtual assets, they are also NFT’s, powered and infused with Enjin Coin. Players can trade the NFTs on the Enjin Jumpnet Blockchain and in future Enjin’s Efinity.

We are currently a small team, but are already based all over the world, with team in America, Europe and the UK.

Nick, our Developer and Founder has a brings a wealth of experience in the cryptocurrency industry both from his personal interests and his background working at the popular cryptocurrency exchange Kriptomat

Kandi our lead artist has worked on many companies/projects, the most notable being her stint at EA games where she worked on “Simpsons: Tapped out”

I myself actually began as a player at Kingdom Karnage! I’ve been in the crypto space since 2018 however and have been heavily into crypto gaming which allows me to incorporate positive experiences I’ve had elsewhere into some of our ideas for Kingdom Karnage.

Tag: Next, could you tell us what are the competitive advantages of Kingdom Karnage compared to other projects?

Kingdom Karnage: Firstly we’re super accessible already, with the game on both PC and android – not many beta games are cross playform – we’ll be adding IOS support early next year!

Not many beta games can say that!!!

We’re building our economy around the player first. We dont ever sell our highest characters (epic and legendaries) In the store.

Basically we profit when our players profit, if you trade an epic character, we get a small transaction fee.

This isn’t some quick flash project. We’re building an economy that will still be around in a decade!

Now, please share with us some new upcoming events, as well as big partners Kingdom Karnage has been working with during its development period.

Kingdom Karnage: The most notable event is the launch of our new token, $KKT. Our upcoming IGO dates:

Enjinstarter (11th Jan), Red Kite (12th Jan), GameFI (13th Jan)

After our token launch there will be a flurry of functionality improvements! Expect auction houses, item rentals, sponsorships all to be added in quick succession, its about to be a very exciting time at Kingdom Karnage!

We’re working with several big partners including the popular exchange Kriptomat. Currently through KK, players can get both a discount on a cryptocurrency purchase, but also receive exclusive NFTs that they can use within Kingdom Karnage

We’re very well known within the Enjin community, and are currently in discussions so that our “Pioneer” character, who is also our “multiverse founders token” not only gives benefits in our games, but other enjin games too.

Collaborations is something we’ll be big on moving forward, expect lots of cool things from Kingdom Karnage in this space after the token launch

First of all, I would like to say thank to our members who have sent to us many questions about Kingdom Karnage

Tag: The first question of this segment is from @Sul__yousuf

P2E games are blowing up in the cryptocurrency space with great potential. A significant issue for many of the currently offered P2E games is just that they are being created as blockchain games, not great games where blockchain is just one element. How’s #kingdom_karn different?

Kingdom Karnage: Highly advise you give us a try and you will see

The core game is completely separate from blockchain. If a player wants they could sign up knowing nothing about blockchain or cryptocurrency and play what I hope they would find to be a very enjoyable game. They would be no worse off than if they played any other game on the google play store, but have no additional benefits either….

Later down the line when the user does learn about blockchain they will realise they already have a pile of NFTs that they can withdraw, trade, gift…. Even use some of them in other games!

Is what I’m trying to get at is that Kingdom Karnage isn’t a blockchain game for the sake of it. We use NFTs, but we only use them where it allows us to do something cool. If all NFTs magically disappeared tomorrow, we would still find a way to provide the game, and we’d still have a playerbase that love playing.

Players will need to spend a fortune in order to earn in some play-to-earn games, and if they don’t invest enough, the money they earn won’t even cover gas fees. How much does it cost to play “KINGDOM KARNAGE” , and how lucrative is it?

Kingdom Karnage: Kingdom Karnage is completely free to play, free to earn!

Our campaign unlocks you a virtual deck that you can use to play all our other game modes where you can win NFT loots.

How lucrative to play is something personal to the player, it depends on your skill level, if you have invested, what events we have going on. I will however give a couple of examples:

– During our recent Christmas event, players were winning our Xmas keys (a loot in a dungeon), using them to unlock our Xmas Dungeon where they won Skellimas. Our playerbase realised they could sell Skellimas for around 0.5JENJ, and use the funds to buy a new Key (0.1JENJ) to grind another Skellimas with, pocketing 0.4JENJ (Around $1 at the time) in the process. This was an event that required no deck to play, a new player could sign up and be earning after completing the first 10 levels of our campaign.

– Investors in our early Dynamic cards are doing very well. Dynamic cards start off as common cards, but level up the more people join the game. Eventually these become legendaries (The highest rarity type in Kingdom Karnage). If I take Crimson Paladin as an example, she originally retailed in our shop for $5, and recently sold on the jumpnet marketplace over $80. She isn’t even an Epic character yet, so who knows how much she will fetch as an Epic or Legendary character!!

Many games today place a high cost to start the game and thus start with a small player base. Does your game have an entry fee or starting condition and if so, what are they? Do I need to hold NFT or hold a certain amount of tokens to enjoy & play it?

Kingdom Karnage: The game is completely free to play! Free to earn! Free to play in our events! We are even on Enjin JumpNet that is currently gas free

There are no NFTs that you REQUIRE to hold to enjoy playing it but there are certainly some i can advise may enhance your experience:

– Our Dynamic Cards (Velkan, Mistress of Nightmares, Crimson Paladin)

Dynamic cards are made with a limited supply, the rarity and level of the characters change each month based on the active number of Kingdom Karnage players from the previous month versus the number of cards in circulation.

Essentially, because the number of these cards won’t increase, as the number of players increases, these cards become rarer. So Kingdom Karnage will reflect this true rarity by continually improving the character levels/rarity/stats/abilities.

Historically dynamics have been profitable for players to hold….we sold Mistress of Nightmares at $20 each, they now trade for over $500 each.

We’re adding a Dynamic to the game each time we add a race, Lycans were recently introduced and Velkan, our Lycan dynamic is still for sale in our store today

– Catacombs Keys

Catacombs is our best dungeon, with the best loots, exclusive items, multiverse drops!

However a key is required to enter it. The Catacombs Key gives it’s owner 1 entry per day, or if they dont want to use their key, they can rent it to other players!!!

We’re about to even add new functionality for this key so that owners can pay other players to run the dungeon for them – so the key owner would get the loot, and the player would get payment for their time, hows that for play2earn?!

The other token I would recomend is the Pioneer character i mentioned earlier.

As i said hes our multiverse founders tokens (a token Enjin games introduced to reward early adopters)

By owning this token you not only get a Character in the game to play (and hes Epic too!), you also get access to monthly quests. Complete the objective (for example, play 20 PvP matches) and you’ll recieve a reward, which is often a card pack or two!

How can the project protect its NFT copyrights? What benefits will holders of the project’s NFTs have?

Kingdom Karnage: In the same way as anyone protects their copyrights. Mostly things I’m sure will be resolved with written warnings, but we wouldnt be afraid to take legal action if required.

We actually had a few tokens that we bought early on from the artist as a character pack …. we’re having to recreate our own versions of now as some of the artwork was being used by other projects (legally) which isnt ideal now we’re growing to a decent size.

Luckily we have now full time employed Kandi (the artist) to work for us full time, which will make it much easier to deal with copyright issues that do arise and should mean we dont have any issues in the future.

Hi, there are plans to expand market size to new countries. Are some countries restricted from playing the game? Which countries will be allowed to play the game from the beginning?

Kingdom Karnage: Oh absolutely!

We’re currently working with partners to create youtubes and official Telegram communities with localised language support. We currently have in place community partnerships for: Chinese, Filipino, French, Indian, Indonesian, Persian, Russian, Spanish and Vietnamese. These partnerships help spread the word about the game in a user’s native tongue expanding our reach dramatically. There are no restrictions on counties that can play the game, everyone is welcome!

We’re also currently looking to onboard a YouTuber full time to the team, ideally one that speaks and can produce videos in at least 2 different languages.

The tokenomics can be seen here. As you can see our team tokens dont fully unlock for 3 years!!! As i said we’re building something thats going to be around for years to come!

Tag: Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?

Kingdom Karnage: Absolutely! Our team are always present in our Telegram/Discord channels, and any feedback is always welcome

At the end of the day without the community we’re nothing!

Wherever possible we take feedback, improve when things have gone a bit wrong, and are always learning and moving forward.

Some of our community have had better ideas than us in the past and am sure they will do in the future too

Tag: Who is your project’s biggest rival? In the future, does your project have a plan to beat your rival or cooperate with them? I think that will be a huge step forward for your project.

Kingdom Karnage: I like to think at this time we dont have a rival! The play2earn space is so new theres time for all quality projects to grow, collaborate etc

At the end of the day right now, a player of another play2earn game like axie infinity is far more likely to be open to playing our game as they already have had a positive play2earn NFT experience

We certainly plan lot of collaborations in the future, especially with games in our immediate ecosystem on the enjin network

Tag: The crypto industry is a fast-paced industry, how flexible is your Project to change quickly and keep pace with technology trends? What is your long-term vision for the forecasting industry in which the your Project project operates? @redd84x

Kingdom Karnage: We have one of the most forward thinking developers in the industry!!

We were one of the first projects on Enjins Jumpnet, we’re the first to subscribe to using JumpNet smart contracts. If its cool and we can add new features for our players we will do what we need to do to get it implemented in the game!

In the future I think all games will have playtoearn aspects as once the wider community of gamers get a taste of it, i think it’ll be demanded – We will reach a point where why would you play a game and not earn when you have dozens of games you can earn in. Glad to be at the forefront of this movement

Tag: Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progresses and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you have started this project?

Kingdom Karnage: We couldnt be more thrilled at how things are going at the moment:

– This year we grew from a team of 1 to a team of 4

– We moved all the games tokens from Enjins mainnet to JumpNet

– We launched and integrated our 3rd race

– We launched our Catacombs dungeon and integrated the key rental system

– And more!!!

And to be honest the second half of the year has been dominated with preparing for the launch of our $KKT token.

When that launches mid january we wont be looking back!!!

The only thing that stops me being properly satisfied by the last year, is I can already see how amazing 2022 is going to be. In the next quarter, features like item rentals and scholarships are going to revolutionise play2earn in Kingdom Karnage.
