To start, I would like to introduce Splyt’s CEO – Mr. Cyrus Taghehchian and CMO – Ms. Lindsey Mallon

First, could you please introduce your team and Splyt?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Yes, we are a team that started in 2017. We have a ton of experience in blockchain: I got into BTC in 2014 and built dApps in 2016, Josh has been coding in Solidity since 2016 and e-commerce: Lindsey has been in retail for 10 years and I have over 10 years of experience implementing Enterprise tech solutions.

We are kind and respectful to each other and thus build better for the users too! Our HQ is in Los Angeles with parts of our team in South Korea too!

Tag: What are the competitive advantages of Splyt compared to other projects?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Splyt advantage really starts with our community. We are all kind, empathetic, and always there to help out. This is going to be a big part of our culture as we open source the project. With that, we think differently too. Splyt is built as a marketplace of marketplaces connecting all storefronts backends together. That hasn’t been done before by any other project. Open Bazaar creates decentralized marketplaces that can plug into the Splyt network. Boson uses NFTs for a voucher system to redeem products but they require you to use their interface. Most of our competitors can use Splyt lol. We are more of a layer-2 solution that anyone can use. Even other crypto projects!

Now please share with us some new upcoming events, as well as big partners Splyt has been working with during its development period?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Upcoming events- we’re launching the Shopify app soon, with more to follow. We have Maison Du, our first use case catered towards the luxury industry, is launching this fall. Migration to Polkadot. So much happening right now!

Partnerships- we’re really humbled by the interest in Splyt. We have such a big community of support. Main partners, though- Kyros , Master Ventures, Bigcoin, Morningstar…

We have some other things in the pipeline as well, mainly collaborations, but those won’t be announced until dates are closer so stay tuned!

Yes, we have our Splyt Meditation Event coming up on April 17th – be sure to join on that. Crypto + Zen

We also just announced a partnership with Morningstar Ventures and Bridge Mutual – very excited to work with them on our NFT system! We have some more BIG partnerships we are going to get to announce later this month. Stay tuned!!! It’s gonna be so fun

Every successful project has a few stories behind the scenes, what’s the story behind Splyt success? What was that vision when it first emerged as an idea? Are there any special prototypes or upcoming Splyt updates that you want to share with us?


Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Yes a fun question! It all started at a party at the University of California, Irvine. I went to a friends party and met a guy who was into Ethereum., which got me interested. I had gotten into BTC in 2014 so I picked up on Ethereum right away. Funny, that same guy introduced me to Josh, our CTO, thru ETHNews. Small world and I’m grateful for it.

Once we started talking about building the first version of Splyt, we wanted to tokenize real life assets. We were on of the first to mint NFTS on Ropstein testnet in 2017. The erc-721 standard was not adopted yet, that came a year later in 2018. The first version was so funny, we created a erc-20 with a supply of 1 LOL. From there we decided to make our own NFT, called the “eNFT” that has e-commerce data and smart contracts coded into every NFT. Fun stuff!
We have a great team and very good technology – excited to go live to mainnet very soon in the next quarter! Glad to have you all as supporters of SHOPX, very grateful

Many blockchain projects are on paper only and no product or product has no practical meaning. Please let us know what is Splyt’s currently practical product in use? What are your plans for the product to be better in the future?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Good question! We’ve been developing our tech since 2017- Cyrus was working with NFT”s before the NFT was even a term and the erc-721 was accepted.

Our eNFT is solutions oriented, so that is a huge difference from everyone else out there. It started solutions oriented- to resolve the double sell problem and enable fractional ownership. We’ve built it out to do so so so much more since then. Our eNFT has smart contracts built into them to mediate sales commissions/bounties, enables transparency in sales partnerships, acts as a proof of authenticity which dismantles the knock-off industry, and tracks data points over lifetime of product in resale market. We

Furthermore, we also have built our tech out to adopt into existing business structures… so we come to you, not the other way around. We maek it easy to onboard into the Splyt protocol. If people are intimidated by or dont understand something, it often scares them away. We make it seamless, effortless, and we break it down so that its easily digestable for anyone.

The problems we resolve are universal, so the solutions we create are also universally understood. We’re so amazed by how Splyt is being received! We didn’t think people would entirely get it…. but people really do. I think that’s because the pain points are so communal- we all know the problems in e-commerce. so appreciating the solutions, it almost sells itself.

We have plugins coming. We have Maison Du launching for luxury market, and then we’re expanding out from there!

Marketing is a central element for every project, so that everyone knows the potential that a project can bring is vital to achieve the goals set. What is your strategy to attract new users and Investor to your platform and keep them long term?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: I think i touched a bit on this above, but yes- aboslutely! Marketing is key in mass adoption! We really understand the importance of creating conversations around the solutiosnwe solve and focusing our branding on the everyday user. We aren’t limiting ourselves to the blockchain community. We see universal usage. We see Splyt as the infrastrcture all ecommerce will be built onto.

By making other systems adoptable into our protocol, and by enabling brands to track their own SKU’s and metadata with our eNFT, we enable brands to have a win-win. They keep their internal structures, but resolve pain points and create more trackable data for brands.

aison Du is cateed to luxury industry, an indsutry that will relaly see the maximum capacity for the eNFT with resale tracking and proof of authenticity. It’s also a market that sturggles the most online to scale and find new customers. We’re really excited to onboard with them. Its the largest marketplace online and also, arguable, the most influential. Everything starts at the top.luxury, adn trickles down, so I think mass adoption frmo there will happen organically (and with good marketing hehe)

Is SPLYT platform suitable for Crypto beginners? Or does it only appeal to professional users?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: It appeals to everyone! You don’t have to use crypto to shop within the Splyt ecosystem. We create buyer rewards with our SHOPX token and enable people to shop just in crypto… so you can either ease your way in or go full throttle! Just like the tech, we work in the background. We meet you at your comfort level. You don’t have to understand crypto to interact on the platform, but we do help bridge the gap!

Adoption is one of the important factors that all sustainable blockchain projects should focus to be more attractive in the investors’s eyes. What did Splyt do and plans to do to achieve real world adoption?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Great question! There are so many cool blockchain projects out there but they require users to try something new and blockchain can be scary and turn off users. This is a problem if we are looking to get global market adoption. Splyt took this to heart and so we took another approach. We built Splyt to work in the backend of e-commerce stores. We even made it easy to connect to the blockchain using our clients, like our Shopify app. All a user has to do is download it. They use Shopify like they normally do, but get all the value of using Splyt and using out eNFT system. You can even watch a video of it working at the link below!

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: we’re the only eNFT that is solutoins oriented! all other eNFTs are novelty based. We also are brdging the gap betweeen blockchain and mass market usage!

Tag: Why do you guys think your project is needed today’s market place?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: everyone is moving online rapidly due to covid! the stars kind of aligned for us with our launch for this and many other reasons. With the mass migration online, the pain points are really magnified. Covid has enabled many to step back and look at those pain points and start asking for solutions. Crypto has become more accepted, NFT’s are trending right now which warms people to the idea of them…

Tag: In Splyt’s shoppable NFT catalog, purchasers can browse whatever products they’re interested in without worrying about additional marketing expenses, but if I myself had a product to promote, would the catalog care to endorse it? Splyt x Kyros Ventures: Great question. We believe in a free open market. You can attach a bounty to every eNFT so when it is in the catalog, it will be promoted relative to the other bounties. The higher the bounty, the more likely others will endorse it for you! A transparent and trusted system!

Tag: In regards of the Universal Reputation System, can customers easily check the reputation of certain online stores?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: yes,we have systems so that brands, online stores, and consumers can be rated and held accountable!

Tag: Mostly people only care about price at short-term and they don’t think about long-term so What is benefits and motivation to keep $SHOPX in long-term ?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: the growth of the Splyt protocol! Once Maison Du and other marketplaces onboard, SHOPX will be a universally used token in ecommerce!

Tag: How long do you think the development of Splyt will take to be used all over the world, is it difficult to make such an adaptation ?

Splyt x Kyros Ventures: I think we have a really strong start with the luxury industry. We’re hoping that within the next few years, this truely will be the infrastructure all ecommerce interacts through. Only time will tell exactly how long that will take, but we’re betting on sooner than later!

Tag: What is the $SHOPX utility in the ecosystem? Where it will be used and why would the demand for $SHOPX increase? Please tell us about your 2021 roadmap and beyond.

Sellers:
