Monster Galaxy: I’m James Cao, CEO of Gaia Online and Monster Galaxy. Glad to meet you all!
I co-founded GaiaOnline in 2003, it’s been 18 years. Gaia has become one of the leading virtual worlds and anime communities in the US and Canada.
MONSTER GALAXY is a hit IP from Gaia Online. We have released three games already and was played by over 25M users. I have been exploring the best way to develop the next Monster Galaxy game, and P2E will be the next chapter with the NFT and P2E model integrated.
The game is a Pokemon look-alike monster collect and battle game. We will release the beta version in Feb 2022, and launch the official version in March 2022.
Along the way, we are also releasing new chapters for our comic book every week, following tradition from our previous games.

What are the competitive advantages of your project compared to other projects?
Monster Galaxy: Monster Galaxy is uniquely positioned. The game has several advantages comparing to other P2E games:
1, We have a world class art team known for creating unique cute monsters.
2, As with other successful RPG game franchises, Monster Galaxy game series has a strong story plot and we have created comic books for all our games. We also have epic music composed by a famous film music composer.
3, The game has very strong gameplay including PvE, PvP (1:1 and 5:5), and guild system. Each MOGA has different element, rarity, class, attributes, and skills which greatly enrich the gaming experiences.
4, We also have support from advisors and our data scientist team who helped with tokenomics design, by simulating the supply and demand for the $GGM tokens in and outside the game.
5, Probably most important of all, we have millions of loyal fans who give us a lot of love, as well as feedback and suggestions. Monster Galaxy is called the childhood memories by a lot of our fans, as our games have accompanied them growing up. We would thrive to make them proud with this new game release.

Monster Galaxy: NFT and Defi are game changer to gaming industry.
We have first hand experience from running GaiaOnline for 18 years. We want to solve two specific challenges our previous users and new players face:
first how to own assets forever, such as the beloved mogas. NFT is the answer. Secondly how to make money by playing the game, not just free to play, P2E allows users to earn money by playing and trading.
Monster Galaxy incorporates both NFT and P2E. We also have staking program to incentive users staking.
I do believe NFT and P2E are the game changer to gaming industry, and we want to be the pioneer and bring the benefits to Monster Galaxy users.

Monster Galaxy: The game is free to play. Everything you do in the game will earn you GGM, the game token, including completing quests, winning battles, and selling mogas. We also have staking incentives for staking GGM tokens.
We understand that in order to keep the game fair to users and sustainable, the most important thing is to balance the token supply and demand. We will do the following:
1, Token supply is managed and distributed over 5 years. It prevents too much supply at the beginning.
2, on the demand side, we have rich gameplay and dozens of token usages, including buying moga, moga slots, starseeds (to capture moga), energy and weapon. We also have interactive events for users to participate in writing the new adventure story of our main characters from our game franchise.
3, Staking: we will also encourage users to stake GGM token, by offering staking incentives such as yields and game privileges. 19% of total tokens are dedicated to staking incentives.
4, Burn, we will also explore burning GGM tokens via buyback from the market with profits made.
We have a proven track record to make successful games and keep evolving. GaiaOnline has been a profitable virtual world and gaming studio for over 18 years. We will continue to make our fans proud.

1, our contracts such as GGM token and NFTs are audited by Certick.
2, all our game servers are hosted in AWS with highest security protocol and backups.
3, we have 24×7 technical team monitoring the platform.
4, There will be always some attacks, such as DDOS attack, we have experience how to block them and how to prevent them.

Monster Galaxy: Definitely, matter of fact that Southeast Asia is one of the two largest regions of Monster Galaxy users.
There are tens of thousands users in Vietnam have played Monster Galaxy games before. We’d love to welcome them back and welcome new players.
We will have ambassadors in southeast asia countries. They will help translate news, articles, and run local communities.
We will invite Sountheast Asia users to beta testers to test the game together with us.
We will also partner with local communities such as EJS Vietnam to promote and introduce the new Monster Galaxy P2E game.

Tag: Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space.
Monster Galaxy: Yes one of our goals is to attract non-crypto users. Matter of fact that Monster Galaxy has million fans, most of them are traditional gamers, not crypto users yet.
We will engage them, educate them, introduce activities to show them the benefits of NFT and P2E.
On the other hand, the game is free to play, each user gets three free mogas at very beginning. Technically you don’t need to spend anything to enjoy the game. We will keep the game flow as easy as possible.
But if you want to advance fast, you can buy moga and weapons from other players.

Monster Galaxy: Community is at core of game development. Community members are the owners of the game. we do want to build Monster Galaxy together with users.
At beginning we the development team will make most decisions while actively getting all suggestions from community both in the game and in social medias such as Twitter/Discord/Telegram/Facebook. We just recruited ambassadors, soon we will look for testers.
Among the total game tokenomics, 30% dedicated to community members P2E, and another 19% dedicated to users staking incentives. We do want to grow the game together with community.
When the game is stabilized, we will open vote right. All GGM holders will vote the next steps for Monster Galaxy, including next big features, buy back procedures, staking incentives change, and the next Monster Galaxy game.
Tag: How many team members do you have? Do they have enough experience in the blockchain field? Do they have any experience on working in crypto and non-crypto project?
Monster Galaxy: We have 10 fulltime employees and 15 contractors right now. Most of the team members are in San Jose California.
Most of us have been in gaming industry for more than 10 years, we are a very experienced gaming studio.
One the crypto side, we have a strong advisors such as Animoca, and data engineer to develop the game, NFTs, and balance tokenomics. We have a system simulating all the token supply and demand to make sure we have a balanced economy.
The meantime, we are also looking for marketing position and developers positions.
